We ask for our dog to be given a bath at the White Oak location in Garner, N.C. We are regular customers and have used PS previously for grooming.

For some reason this time, they charged DOUBLE saying "we added Furminator treatment" The grooming staff (Samantha Lombardo) failed to explain "Furmination". We never herd of Furmination. Obviously, just something for which they could charge extra. We never paid for that before.

There were no signs posted to explain this service and no price list posted anywhere. This was gross lack of communication which resulted in misleading information. When we spoke to the manager, he acted like he didn't even care. All they wanted was to charge extra money, get paid and then charge us for a service we didn't even know about nor did we ask for.

We will NEVER go to this company again. They are insensitive, unprofessional, group of scamers who just aim to rip off the public. DON't GO TO PET SMART. You're better off doing your own dog grooming.

These people will disrespect you and your pet and wouldn't care less.

Dear who ever wrote the comment above saying that the entire line of Petsmart businesses are bad and the people there are disrespectful. You need to get your fact straight 1:not ever Petsmart is that way.2: before a dog is signed in we cover your dogs problems we will tell you the truth if dogs skin is dry we suggest oatmeal shampoo and milk conditioner, if your dogs shedding we suggest furminator .

3: we ask if it's okay to do the following to help the dog. 4 you sign the paper that shows what is going to happen during the visit while your gone 5 we circle the cost for when you return so your not shocked, plus if it's the right phone number, and the promise time to return if you do not hear from us. The people that work at the stores can tell you that we have to deal with more mistreatment and lies from the customers then we would like to deal with.

I can tell you that I do the steps above for every check in and inform them of the price and what we are doing and yet the client wants to come in lie to my face and then get the manager just so he or she and get a free bath/ groom this time or next and I can tell you that we all have a manager as a groomer who listen to us while we do the check in process so that they too know we are doing everything right. And the manager unless he or she tells you they are the manager you will never tell the difference we are all dressed the same.


You probably went in saying "he's shedding alot do whatever to make that stop" and they did the furminator. You sign a paper before any service which okays both the service and the price, read what your signing, duh!
