I recently went to petsmart to buy new fish because some off them

Had died in the recent power outage. There is an elderly woman that was working there at the time. I had gone there once before looking for ick medicine. I explained all the symptoms but didn't tell her the diagnosis to are if she knew what I was talking about, she had no clue later I bought the

Medicine cheaper from another store

Anyway, I'm going to by new fish, the woman comes over and refuses to sell me angelfish because I had plattys even though my vet keeps angel fish together with no problem. She then walks away and leaves me for a good twenty minutes. She walks over again and doesn't help me! Finally after atleast an hour she comes back over to the fish there is now a whole line of customers. She looks at me then looks away and asks anyone if they need help so I say I do!

She finally walks over and then again refuses to sell me a small koi even though the tag says the only need 20 gallons and I have a 55 gallon tank that I keep very large comets in. Finally after I choose my fish she bags them up and hands them to me I say thank you and walk away as I am walking away she starts yelling out thank you your welcome over and over making me look rude in front of a line of customers even though I did say thank you even after waiting for over and hour with out any help!

Without saying anything else I will never be back to mount olive pet smart and that elderly woman should be fired.

Monetary Loss: $10.

And are you entirely sure that she refused to sell you an angel because of the platy and not because of your tank size? Too many people put angels in tiny tanks not realizing they get to be at least six inches from nose to tail, and in some varieties, ten inches from dorsal to anal fin.

While her behavior was very rude toward you, I feel obliged to say that I would not recommend koi for anything less than 1000 gallon ponds. These fish can grow over 2 feet in length. A 55 gallon would be an awful environment for koi, and is already overstocked if you have more than a single comet in it.
