Well I adopted two beautiful cats from petsmart, let me rephrase that sick beautiful cats. They had a huge worm infestation within 2 days of me bringing them home.

I could not get rid of the worms they were so bad so i was going to return them.

Well I received a phone call at my WORK by the lady saying I should never have children because I couldn't even take care of a cat! This blew my mind! she continued to tell me I was irresponsible and it was my fault they had worms cause i am a dirty person!

I have never heard somebody even speak to a customer like that i was mind boggled!! I don't ever want to get anything from petsmart because of them !!

Attention all retards, petsmart do a sell cats and dogs from shelters and they are in the store care until we them. I just bought a kitten from there and he died two days later.

Lady told me he was fine and had all shots only to be taken to the vet and he had many viruses. *** unjust people

These people are horrible. My cat of 17 years passed away a few days ago and I go into adopt a cat or kitten and โ€œJoyceโ€ was nothing but rude.

Actually I *** and lucky for her I have a good job. Donโ€™t adopt from these people

My daughter adopted a (sick)cat from Petsmart. She had him for 2 months when his illness came out (Fip) she fell in love with him and after having him a short time had to put him down he had a non curable virus. Never adopt from them!!

I thought all adopted animals had to have all paperwork showing animals mediczl checkups? Petsmart in Roger, AR lets a charity in "All for the Animals" who brought in cats with giardi, amancipated, dogs in heat, and unspade or neutered cats.

We had to take three small kittens from the Rogers, AR Petsmart to emergency clinic. Kittens had to be put on IV, warming blankets. Kittens were literally starving and all were diagnosed witj giardia which is contagiois to humans and can be deadly to children. Many kids picked up kittens all day, before we tookmthem away.

I have medical records to prove this. 1 kittrn died, 2 others barely survived. We spoke with all 3 managers, 2 of them were very rude. It cost us $1300 (have receipt) fot the emergency care.

I wanted to present proof to managers. They hung up on me and said situation is resolved.

So your bad experience is with the adoption group not Petsmart because Petsmart doesn't sell cats or dogs? Maybe you should figure out what you are talking about before harming the reputation of the store that isn't even at fault. I base whether I want to do business somewhere based on customer satisfaction and this review is a bit misleading.

actually. Petsmart do sell the cats and dogs from shelters. This makes them legally liable as facilitator.

It is absolutely reprehensible for ANY pet stores to sell animals. There is no excuse to buy animals from those stores and the puppy/kitty mills that supply them.

The only way this can be stopped is for all of us to stop buying animals from a Pet Store. Please adopt. There are many waiting in shelters for their forever homes. Help us rid the terrible things the stores perpetuate by running animal mills.

The PetSmart stores in Alberta have stopped selling and instead offer space for shelter animals to be seen and a shelter representative to take adoption applications.

Success at last. Kudos to those stores that offer shelters a forum.

Petsmart doesn't sell cats or dogs. This was from an independent rescue group, not Petsmart, ***.

You could not get rid of the worms? Did you even try?

If they were tapeworms (the little white worms that look like rice), all it takes is a shot (or a pill) to get rid of them!

It's not that big a deal. If you are too cheap to do that, you probably shouldn't be a pet owner.
