Petsmart groomer dislocated my DOG's left shoulder

PetSmart complaint
Pets smart groomer dislocated my 6month old toy poodle's left shoulder and pulled ligaments. Maggie has been in body case for 7 days. Today she is now limping a week after body case removed. Vet has stated our puppy will now live with this injury for the rest of her life. She limps always and tires easy. My husband and I are retired and are just devastated by what has happened to our baby. We have let everyone we know what has happened, everyone is so angry to hear this. We want pets smart to come forward, very hurt.

I CURRENTLY WORK AT A PETSMART AS A PET GROOMER AND CAN FIRSTHAND TELL YOU THAT PUPPIES ARE THE HARDEST TO GROOM. THEYRE NOT USED TO IT, THEY FIDGET, BITE REPEATEDLY AND FROM WHAT YOURE SAYING YOUR "PUPPY" MUST OF PUT UP A GREAT FIGHT IF IT GOT HURT THAT BAD. IM NOT SAYING IT WASNT THE GROOMERS FAULT FOR LETTING IT HAPPEN BUT DONT THINK ALL OF PET SMART GROOMERS WILL HANDICAP PEOPLES ANIMALS. :roll

Ha Ha! This response is to "not by accident".. clearly since you wrote a response, you should have noticed that you do not enter a date.. so you must feel pretty dumb since your date (using your logic) says that you entered your response on the 31st month of the year....

This is for the person who penned "Accadents happen" before you write such a mean spirited response to an event that you really don’t have any first hand knowledge of (unless you were the groomer); you might want to check your spelling and grammar.

It’s spelled A.C.C.I.D.E.N.T.S. not Accadents (that is just one of the many errors found).

Maybe you should spend more time learning how to spell and use proper grammar instead of accusing someone of injuring their own pet.

You also might want to check the date on your response as well because 12.05.08 is still in the distance future…… unless you live in the Twilight Zone.

Have you ever tried to groom a puppy? Probably not, otherwise you would have not brought it somewere to groomed. dogs move and jump and even bite. I am sure that the groomer did not mean to hurt your dog and probably feels horrible about it. I also an very familular with the companies customer service policy and I am sure that they have taken care of all vet bills and further preventative care for your pet. And if they haven't, its beacuse you were caught in a scam and are trying to get someone else to pay for what you did to your own dog. So quit your ***! The average PetSmart grooms over 300 dogs per week with no injuries. With over 1,000 stores that is 15,600,000 dogs per year :eek! Something is going to happen and i'm sorry it was to your baby.
